Sign-Ups are now open for the second event of the UniRocketeers Circuit 2022-23

UniRocketeers Spring 2022-23 will feature 40 of Europe’s best University Rocket League teams competing for their share of a 10,000€ prize pool. The Top 3 teams from UR Spring will earn invites to Psyonix’s CRL World Championship, to be held in Summer 2023!

You can watch UR Spring on the UniRocketeers Twitch channel. The Open Qualifiers and Group Stage will also be broadcast on Tylacto’s Twitch channel.

UR Spring will be followed by the UniRocketeers Last Chance Qualifier 2022-23 on 15th-23rd April. The UR LCQ will award Europe’s 2 remaining spaces at the CRL World Championship through a 64 team Double Elimination Bracket. It will be broadcast for 2 consecutive weekends on the official RocketLeague Twitch channel!

To participate in UniRocketeers you must be a full-time student at an eligible institution. A full breakdown of the rules and tournament structure can be found here.

UniRocketeers Spring Format

24 teams have been invited to take part in UR Spring due to their performances in UR Winter, or our partnered National Leagues.

The remaining 16 spaces in UR Spring will be up for grabs in our Open Qualifiers

Open Qualifiers

  • There will be 4 Open Qualifiers, with 4 teams progressing from each.
  • There is no limit to the number of Open Qualifiers a team can choose to play in.
  • Each Open Qualifier will be a Double Elimination Bracket, consisting of Best-of-3 and Best-of 5 matches.
 
 

Group Stage

  • Teams will be split into 4 groups each containing 10 teams.
  • Each group will play out a round robin format with Best-of-5 matches.
  • The Top 6 Teams in each group will qualify for the Double Elimination Playoffs.
  • All eliminated teams who have not qualified for the CRL World Championship will receive invites to the UR LCQ.
 
 

Double Elimination Playoffs

  • 24 Teams will compete in a Double Elimination Bracket consisting of Best-of-7 matches.
  • The Top 3 teams from the Playoffs will receive invites to the CRL World Championship.
  • All eliminated teams who have not qualified for the CRL World Championship will receive invites to the UR LCQ.

UniRocketeers LCQ

The last 2 European spaces in the CRL World Championship will be awarded via the UniRocketeers Last Chance Qualifier 2022-23. Taking place from 15th-23rd April, the UR LCQ will be open to all teams from UR Spring, as well as the top performing teams from each of our partnered National Leagues.

The UR LCQ will feature a Double Elimination format containing up to 64 teams.

Teams can qualify for the UR LCQ via any of the partnered National Leagues below. Be on the lookout for their Spring Season announcements in the coming days.

 

*Germany’s UR LCQ spots are awarded via the Uniliga Winter Season due to the lack of a Spring Semester in the German academic calendar.

**Universities from Russia are not permitted to compete in this year’s UniRocketeers Circuit.
